Soroptimist Shuffle
The “Soroptimist Shuffle” is our new spring fundraiser.
We have joined with the Downtown Association’s Third Thursday Celebration for our Spring fundraiser. This will be a win-win event for Soroptimist and the Downtown Merchants Association.
Tickets are $10 each and entitle the holder to one 5 card poker hand.
Players can purchase as many “hands” as they want. Hands will be sold on the night of the event in front of South Valley Bank. (All completed hands must be returned for judging to the booth in front of South Valley Bank).
(Anyone can pre-purchase a hand from any Soroptimist)
Players will stop in at participating merchants to be dealt a card. Hence the “shuffle” down main street. They may go to different merchants to make the best 5 card poker hand. (All the rules have been printed on the back side of every “hand”).
At the end of the evening, the winning hands will be declared & the prizes will be awarded.
So plan now to get involved in the fun & help this event be successful!
Please bring your friends, boyfriends, family! Enjoy the evening strolling through the various stores downtown and win great prizes!
All proceeds from this event will benefit our local community projects and scholarships. Soroptimists are doing their best to help women and girls through out our community, region and world. Thanks for your support!
