Benefits of Membership

If you are a woman who works in business, management and/or a profession who wishes to provide volunteer service in an atmosphere of support, friendship and fun, then joining Soroptimist may be right for you.

"I have belonged to Soroptomist for close to 20 years and what an amazing organization it is! To be able to help women and children, not only locally, but throughout the world, is such a wonderful feeling. And the friendships I have made through the years has been a bonus. After all, how often do you get to have lunch with your besties every week?"

Michelle Wynne

"One of the reasons I'm a Soroptimist is that it connects me with a group of women that champion, encourage, and empower women to become better.

I enjoy working together for a common cause, and love that we help the many organizations in the community!"

Cheryl Matchett
Fireserve Broadband
"Soroptimist provides me with a strong group of professional women from which to draw knowledge and support.
Attending the functions and being part of committees is so rewarding because of the good work our club - and by extension Soroptimist of the Americas and Soroptimist International - do for women and girls. To me, there isn't a more worthy cause than that of women and girls."
Rachael Spoon
State Farm Insurance
"I have been a member since 1999 in 5 different clubs. I have learned that Soroptimist is much more than a service organization. The friendships that we make working together are everlasting and the work makes such an impact in the community.

The joys that we receive in making a difference in women and girls lives is so rewarding."
